FOSTER AN ENGAGING CO-CURRICULAR ENVIRONMENT
In Student Engagement, I had the pleasure of working with student teams to produce all undergraduate programming. Successful programming begins with a prepared staff. Through policy creation and intentional student development, I equipped the Event Production Team and the Activities Programming Board with the skills to produce successful programs for their community.

DEVELOP AN ENRICHING CAMPUS CLIMATE
Immersing new students in the campus climate is a critical component of their higher education transition. The Orientation Team leads this effort. As a supporting advisor for the Orientation Team and the Orientation logistics manager, I am afforded the opportunity to share my passion with the student team and positively influence each incoming first-year student.
Supporting an institutional identity requires all departments and stakeholders to adhere to an institution’s mission and strategic plan. Active involvement by Student Life departments is critical. Through a focused examination of my own department, I considered the role of homogenization in higher education and the influence of distinctive Student Life programming.
